Videos

The videos that you see below are all part of Jacobs' Upholstery. The very first video that was posted was the most recent. This was a ford focus that a customer wanted to customize. She originally came into the shop needing to get a foam leg lifting wedge covered. When she came into the show room she saw the HUGE variety of things that we can do. She very nonchalantly asked if we work on cars, our immediate answer was "yes". We talked for several minutes about her previous cars, and how the one that she has now is one that she would like to keep forever, but she wanted to make it more...her. So she offered up a bit of advice that the name of her car is "Blue Bell" and that her favorite color was in fact blue, the same color as the car. Instantly my mind raced to this vinyl that we have that is called "RAVE". It is an awesome, almost iridescent, vinyl that comes in 25 different colors. Amazingly enough I have actually matched about 5 different colors to 5 different paint jobs in the last year. To make a long story short, she loved it, we used it as the "insert", middle section of the seat, and we found a gray vinyl that matched the plastic trim around the seat for the "wrap", the rest of the material on the sides of the seats around the insert. After starting the project, it just wasn't enough. The seats were almost separated from the rest of interior. So after her permission we started working on the doors. We used the same material from the "Inserts" and inlaid it in the door panels and door pulls. The video walks through the step by step process of what we did to customize this car! Check it out and tell some friends to check it out! Thanx!
