"Daily Driver" Issues. Fix/Customize any vehicle!

There are a few issues that come up with EVERY vehicle, that we have yet to find a way of curing. We refer to the main problem of any and every "driver" as a the driver seat insert and side insert. We use the term "insert" to replace the word panel. This may be news to some people but it is a very easy fix to just replace the needed panels on the majority of any seat. (Most dealers will tell you to replace the entire seat bottom, some have actually told their customers to change out the entire seat for their small tear) These panels get rubbed every time you enter your car, they get the brunt of your weight pressing, dragging and pulling on it every time you drive your car. It really doesn't matter if your 85lbs or 450lbs, or if the panel is leather, cloth, vinyl or suede, This panel will be ruined.
It starts out with a couple small folds or lines in the material. As the foam loses its support and starts to deteriorate from wear, (another topic of conversation) these panels move and adjust way more than they are intended to. As one of the folds either cracks or starts to unravel your problem has just crossed the line of a "foam repair" to "insert replacement". When It comes to matching up the material most customers don't know that this is the time where they are in the power. You have more than a couple options, you can use the O.E. (Original Equipment) material, you can implement a complementary color, or a custom color. You would probably be amazed and the huge spectrum of materials that are available. In this video a woman came in to fix a tear in her driver seat insert. After talking to her I found out that this was her favorite car she has ever owned. She was very proud of the color because she got to pick it out. She eventually told me that she fully intended to have this car for the remainder of her life. So I shared with her the options of what we could do. She was astonished to find out that she didn't "Have to" go with something that was close to what she had in the car currently. Even more to her amazement, I grabbed 4 or 5 vinyl color samples that were in the same hue of her car color. She started flipping through and on the 3rd one she threw it down and said, "I don't need to see anymore, THIS IS THE ONE! I LOVE THIS COLOR!!" She had picked a color sample called Rave Sapphire, it really is an awesome metallic blue. We took it outside to the car and it was a dead-ringer for the color. She was quite literally bouncing around with joy and the way she imagined it would turn out. After walking through the specifics of where she wanted the blue to go she was astonished that it was that easy. My team started by doing the seats and as we progressed through the project it just didn't seem like enough blue to me. So I called the customer and asked if it would be okay to do a little more blue than what we had talked about. She was ecstatic and said "Anything and everything you want to put that blue on would be amazing!" So the seats were done and we decided to do the door panel inserts, and the door handle pulls. All I can say is WOW that turned cool! She came in and was quite happy with how fast of a turn around time we had and how everything turned out! She said to me several times that she had no idea that this was even a possibility. That's why I'm writing about it now!
It really isn't that hard, we are already into your seat fixing a spring, adjusting the foam, replacing an insert, it really isn't too much more work for us to make it look exactly the way you want! This is your vehicle, you are the one that drives it everyday! Don't settle for being uncomfortable. Don't settle for it not looking as cool or custom as you want it. You really would be surprised to find out that it really doesn't cost as much as you may think it does.
The other issues that come up in most vehicles can be fixed quite easily. You shouldn't have to settle for anything less than 'Exactly What You Want." Don't settle for the headliner that hangs down and touches your head, or the foam that flies out of the duct tape on the seat, or the metal bar that is stabbing you in the back. "Uncomfortable" Seats

It has come to my attention how horrible the seating industry is. From Honda Accords, to Any PT cruisers, to EVERY model of motorcycle seats, all the way to brand new couches, recliners, dining chairs and patio sets. This is a problem that just astounds me. In my point of view, no one should ever be uncomfortable driving/riding or sitting! Then again I was born and raised in a specific field that specializes in perfecting seats. I have actually heard from several customers that they ended up getting a different vehicle or piece of furniture because the one that they wanted didn't have comfortable seats! Okay I know that some that might be reading this might not think that this is too outrageous... but come on! Almost every person, lives within 50 - 100 miles of an upholstery company! I really have a list of completely amazed and satisfied customers who's lives have been transformed to our seat altering process!
